I have an RNDIS over USB device that works on some Windows 10 devices and not others. It always works under Windows 7. Windows 10 ( installed as an update to windows 7) in a virtual machine ( VMWare Workstation with Windows 7 host) works with this device fine. Windows 10 ( installed as an update to windows 7) on a HP Elite book ( or Dell Tablet) does not work. First the device wants to install as a serial com port. When I correct that, the device installs the correct drivers, but I get a Code 10 error in device manager. I have scoured the internet and have not found anything close to fixing the problem.
